Black History Presentation at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church

On February 13, 2022, Classmates Rosa Ashby Metoyer and Freddie Price were invited to
Antioch Missionary Baptist Church as featured speakers at their 9:00 worship service in recognition of Black History Month. They shared their experiences on growing up in the Alexandria during Jim Crow era and the importance of How We Got Over. Rev. Stanley Mathis, pastor of Antioch, presented certificates in honor of Rosa and Freddie’s participation.
